The carriage was painted red, fitted with "Mitropa" lettering and visually modeled on a saloon car. However, it was never used for catering purposes. Only a short time later, its service life was not extended and the carriage fell into noticeable disrepair. In 1990/91, it underwent a final transformation and was converted into a new luggage coach for the Weißeritztalbahn.
