German Federal Railroad Steam Locomotive Class 012
After the Second World War, the former stars of the DRG were mostly in a shockingly poor condition - especially in the area of the streamlining. After their removal and reconditioning, the class 01.10 formed an important mainstay in high-quality express train service. During various rebuilds or modernizations, but above all the necessary reboiling, a total of 34 engines were converted to oil main firing towards the end of the 1950s.
