Historical background

The class 86 was built in large numbers for the Deutsche Reichsbahn between 1928 and 1943. After the Second World War, numerous machines remained with the PKP, where they were continued under the series designation TKt3. With 1,000 hp and speeds of up to 80 km/h, they were ideal for mixed services on branch lines. The last PKP locomotive of this type was taken out of service in 1975.

Compatibility & expansion options

The locomotive is compatible with all common H0 track systems and can be flexibly integrated into existing train formations thanks to the NEM shaft and KK kinematics. Retrofitting a smoke generator (Seuthe No. 11) is possible without any problems.
