Roco 7180005 TT steam locomotive BR 94.5–18, DRG, Ep. II Product Details
The Roco steam locomotive BR 94.5-18 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft in Era II is a detailed model with riveted water boxes, delicate controls and fine, free-standing pipes on the boiler.
The T 16.1, later known as the BR 94.5-18, was a freight train tender locomotive of the Royal Prussian State Railroad and was also procured by the Reichseisenbahn Alsace-Lorraine. A total of 1,236 locomotives of this series were built between 1913 and 1924, including subsequent orders by the Deutsche Reichsbahn. Due to their efficiency, these locomotives were not only found on branch lines and in shunting service, but could also replace the cost-intensive cogwheel operation on steep lines in friction operation.
