Description

Roco 7510127 H0 2er Set electric locomotive Re 4/4 II 11133 und Re 4/4 II 11192, SBB, DC-sound Product Details

Roco 7510127 H0 set of 2 electric locomotives Re 4/4 II 11133 and Re 4/4 II 11192, SBB, DC sound: Swiss engineering in digital perfection

With the Re 4/4 II locomotives 11133 and 11192, the Roco 7510127 H0 set of 2 brings two outstanding models from the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) to your model railway layout. With digital sound, individually switchable headlights and marker lights as well as cab and engine room lighting, this set combines technical excellence and historical authenticity. Both locomotives are reproduced in great detail and reflect the characteristic features of their prototypes from eras V and VI.

The prototype: The versatile Re 4/4 II

The history of the Re 4/4 II began in 1960 with the development of six prototypes, which were referred to as "BoBo". The first series, which was delivered in 1965, comprised 49 locomotives and was still equipped with a single scissor pantograph. From 1969, the series was delivered with two single-arm pantographs and improved roof superstructures. The Re 4/4 II was used as a multi-purpose locomotive for both passenger and freight traffic and is still a symbol of reliability and versatility in Swiss rail traffic today.

The two locomotives in this set represent different construction phases and operational characteristics. Locomotive 11133, a former Swiss Express locomotive, has an extended bumper, while locomotive 11192 from the second series was equipped for the first time with a new rear-view mirror on the left in the direction of travel.

Digital features and details

Both locomotives in the set are equipped with the latest digital technology. The individually switchable headlights and marker lights, the cab lighting and the engine room lighting provide a realistic driving experience. The high-quality sound decoder produces authentic operating sounds and raises the models to a new level in the world of model railroading. The Z21 cab compatibility enables even more realistic control.

Color scheme and design

The models impress with their typical SBB color scheme and precise printing. Locomotive 11133 has the features of a former Swiss Express locomotive with an extended bumper, while locomotive 11192 reflects the modernized equipment of the second series. The authentic design of the roof superstructure, EP cans on the buffer beam and the different train destination displays complete the prototypical implementation.

Technical details and compatibility

The model set is manufactured in H0 scale (1:87) and designed for the 2-wire direct current system (DC). With an overall length over buffers (LüP) of 355 mm and a minimum radius of 360 mm, the locomotives are suitable for use on a wide variety of layouts. Thanks to the NEM coupling shafts with close coupling kinematics (KK kinematics), the models can be easily integrated into train formations.

Care and maintenance

The locomotives in the Roco 7510127 set are low-maintenance and durable. The maintenance-free LED light sources guarantee reliable lighting. To ensure optimum functionality, the wheels and couplings should be cleaned regularly. Occasional lubrication of moving parts contributes to long-term operational safety.

Conclusion: A masterpiece for discerning model railroaders

The Roco 7510127 H0 set of 2 with the Re 4/4 II locomotives 11133 and 11192 is a highlight for any model railway layout. With digital sound, versatile lighting options and excellent detailing, these models offer an impressive driving experience. Bring the Swiss art of engineering from eras V and VI into your collection and enrich your layout with these outstanding locomotives.
