In recent years, the Simson Schwalbe has become an increasingly popular customizing vehicle. With more than one million units produced, the Simson Schwalbe is the most successful two-wheeler in German two-wheeler history in terms of production volume. Manufactured in the "Fahrzeug- und Jagdwaffenwerk Ernst Thälmann", the Simson factory in Suhl, the Schwalbe was the first model in the newly developed Vogel series at Simson from 1964. Vehicles such as the "Spatz", "Star", "Sperber" and "Habicht" were also produced in large numbers in Suhl. The Simson Schwalbe KR 51/1 is a highlight from Schuco's high-quality 1:10 motorcycle classics edition, produced with the utmost precision.
