RegioShuttle RS1
A compact regional railcar would work extremely well on small and medium-sized layouts. Numerous real operators and liveries could support an entire long-term model family.
Which locomotive is still missing in TT? Which railcar would finally make a typical regional train possible? Which H0 locomotive should also appear as an AC version? And which H0m or H0e narrow-gauge railway has been waiting far too long for the right model?
The page TILLIG New Products 2027 | Model Wishes & Ideas follows a different approach from a normal new-products page. As long as TILLIG has not officially presented its 2027 programme, no vehicle on this page is presented as if it had already been confirmed.
Instead, the page asks a question that becomes especially interesting before every new model year: what is still missing? With TILLIG this is particularly interesting because the manufacturer combines several model railway worlds. TT gauge remains a major focus, supplemented by H0 vehicles, H0 ELITE track, the recently introduced H0 centre-contact programme and H0m and H0e narrow-gauge ranges.
A useful wish for 2027 therefore does not have to be the next large express locomotive. A small railcar, matching driving trailer, shunting locomotive, missing wagon type or turnout can sometimes add considerably more operating value to an existing model railway.
A strong wish model can be placed within a specific operating concept. A RegioShuttle could represent several private railway routes on small TT layouts. A modern shunting locomotive could animate industrial sidings and freight yards. A new narrow-gauge vehicle family could turn a few tracks into a complete branch railway. And a missing centre or driving trailer may be more useful to an existing train than another locomotive.
A useful proposal should include more than a class number. Gauge, era, railway company, preferred livery and intended use all help to explain why the model matters. Technical equipment is equally relevant: decoder interface, cab lighting, separately switchable tail lights, sound preparation or provision for digital couplings.
Only when a current TILLIG or Modellbahnshop product page explicitly identifies a model as a New Product 2027 should it move into the official new-products area.
The following proposals are deliberately described as wish models. They are intended to start discussions and can be expanded, changed or rejected entirely. Select favourites and transfer them into the wish workshop further down the page.
A compact regional railcar would work extremely well on small and medium-sized layouts. Numerous real operators and liveries could support an entire long-term model family.
A Gravita would be particularly interesting for modern freight yards, local freight workings and industrial sidings. DB and private-railway variants could support several layout concepts.
A heavy modern diesel locomotive would look impressive in front of long freight trains and could complement contemporary TT diesel traction.
This freight electric locomotive has been part of the German railway scene for many years. DB Cargo variants and special liveries could be used for numerous modern freight trains.
Not every new product has to be large. An ELNA locomotive could represent private railways, museum railways and compact branch lines with only a few matching coaches.
A contemporary small tank locomotive would be ideal for shunting and branch-line operation. Compact locomotives often generate more practical operation than another large express locomotive.
Following the launch of TILLIG’s H0 centre-contact programme, an expansion in 2027 would be especially interesting. Existing H0 families could also be offered for three-rail layouts.
Car trains need several wagons from the same family. Different running numbers and designs could make long, credible block trains possible in TT or H0.
Two- or three-car regional trains are common on today’s railways. A new basic model with several operator variants could substantially expand modern TT operation.
Existing narrow-gauge models could be supplemented with further passenger, service and traction vehicles, allowing complete HSB train formations rather than isolated models.
A new tooling family could support historical DR operation as well as present-day museum and tourist railways. Short trains would also work particularly well on small layouts.
Sometimes the most important new product is not a locomotive. Matching driving, centre, restaurant or luggage coaches can finally turn an existing vehicle family into a complete train.
Slender turnouts, crossings and special track geometries can be at least as useful to layout builders as a vehicle. Prototypical track construction remains a core TILLIG theme.
Cab lighting, separately switchable tail lights, modern interfaces and provision for digital couplings could also improve existing vehicle families.
Engineering trains create a great deal of shunting operation. New ballast, flat, material and service wagons could enrich track-maintenance scenes in several eras.
The list deliberately collects model wishes. Every class, wagon, track component and technical feature remains an idea until TILLIG officially announces a corresponding product.
A new-products programme does not need to treat every gauge equally. More important is whether a new design complements existing train families and can generate several useful variants over time.
| Gauge | Existing Strength | Possible Wish Direction for 2027 | Potential |
|---|---|---|---|
| TT | Vehicles, wagons, track and starter sets | New locomotive and railcar families | Many eras and operators within a limited layout area |
| H0 | Vehicles and H0 ELITE track | More complete train families | High detail and an extensive accessories market |
| H0 AC | Recently introduced centre-contact programme | Additional existing H0 models offered directly in AC | Access to established three-rail layouts |
| H0m | Metre-gauge and HSB subjects | Complete passenger and service-train families | Compact layouts with strong prototype recognition |
| H0e | 9 mm narrow-gauge models | Saxony, DR and museum-railway subjects | Short trains, tight radii and intensive shunting |

Sufficient space for a decoder and loudspeaker makes later digital conversion easier. Analogue models should remain straightforward to upgrade.
Cab, engine-room and tail lights add operating value when they can be switched independently and sensibly.
Shunting locomotives benefit especially when coupling functions are technically prepared instead of requiring extensive conversion work.
A well-equipped basic model plus higher-specification digital and sound versions allows each modeller to decide how much technology is required.
Build your model wish like a small product specification. The page creates a prepared e-mail addressed to denis@korn.de. Nothing is sent automatically. The message opens in the visitor’s configured mail application and can be checked before being sent.
“I need this model for this train” provides more useful information than simply “would be nice”. Mention the models you already own, the era of your layout and the reason why this particular vehicle, wagon or track component is missing.
As of August 2026, the regular TILLIG 2027 new-products programme has not yet been published. The finder below only transfers a product into this area if the current product page explicitly contains a 2027 new-product designation.
Good wishes often begin by looking at existing model families. Perhaps the locomotive already exists but the matching coach is missing. Perhaps an existing H0 locomotive does not yet have a centre-contact version, or a narrow-gauge train needs another vehicle type.
Current TILLIG product pages will be checked when this section approaches the viewport.

New products are most useful when they complement an existing system. These English shop destinations help check what is already available before submitting a wish.
The most important distinction is between wish models and officially announced TILLIG products.
No. As of August 2026, no regular official TILLIG new-products programme for 2027 has been published. The model proposals on this page are therefore explicitly wish ideas.
The page allows model railway enthusiasts to collect and submit specific wishes before the programme is published. Once genuine 2027 products appear, the same page can also present the officially confirmed models separately.
TT is TILLIG’s largest vehicle field. At the same time, H0, the newer H0 centre-contact programme and the H0m and H0e narrow-gauge ranges provide interesting opportunities for additional models.
A RegioShuttle RS1 is one possible wish because many operators and liveries exist and the short railcar also works well on compact layouts. This is a suggestion, not a confirmed TILLIG product.
Examples include the Voith Maxima, Gravita or a modern implementation of Class 152. These examples are explicitly wishes and not confirmed TILLIG new products.
One useful wish would be for further existing TILLIG H0 vehicle families to be offered as factory-produced AC versions for centre-contact layouts.
H0m could benefit from additional HSB and metre-gauge vehicles. In H0e, further Saxon or 750/760 mm narrow-gauge models could form complete train families.
Yes. Locomotives are only one part of a model railway. Driving trailers, passenger and freight wagons, track, turnouts and technical improvements are expressly welcome as model wishes.
The generated model wish opens as a prepared e-mail addressed to denis@korn.de. The visitor can review the message in their own mail application before sending it.
The integrated finder checks current TILLIG product pages. A model should appear in the official 2027 section only if its current product page explicitly identifies it as a 2027 new product.
No. Product pages containing a clear notice that an item is no longer offered are rejected by the live check.
Do not wait until the official new-products brochure has already appeared. Describe the vehicle, wagon, track component or technical feature you would genuinely use on your layout.
