Viessmann 5280 Multiprotokoll Schalt- und Weichendecoder

The decoder is a multi-protocol decoder for the DCC and Märklin-Motorola format. It is designed as a points decoder for 4 points with double coils and also controls 2 servos. It has 4 output pairs, which can also be configured for special functions. Various lighting effects can be generated, such as flashing for construction site lighting or advertising. With the appropriate configuration, the decoder recognizes the position of points with end position cut-off at the points outputs and reports this position back via RailCom. Features: 4 pairs of points outputs (double coil), outputs can also be configured as individual outputs, positive voltage switched, supply either from the track signal or via external supply for the load to be switched, various output functions: pulse, continuous, flashing output, dimming, signals, random control (also for the servo outputs). Switching current up to a maximum of 5 A per output, decoder total maximum 5 A. With E-socket for feeding the switching current via a separate transformer. Maximum total current of the decoder can be set. LEDs on the outputs signal the switching command, track input, programming on the programming track, programming on the main track (POM), address programming also via push-button, RailCom. The servo outputs can be configured in terms of travel and speed, total supply current for both servos: 300 mA continuous, 450 mA short-time.
