The BEMO News 2025 in H0m, H0e, H0 and 0m clearly demonstrates what the manufacturer stands for: specialised narrow-gauge models, Swiss railways, high-quality small-series models and vehicles designed not merely for collecting but for complete trains and operating scenes.
The Rhaetian Railway forms one of the central themes, alongside German 750 and 760 mm narrow-gauge subjects. At the same time, BEMO opens the familiar RhB Capricorn theme to standard H0 layouts through special standard-gauge model variants and continues to expand its large 0m range. In 0m, wagon tooling is revised for further prototypical variants.
From Modern Capricorn to Historic State Railways
The programme also covers a broad historical range. Modern RhB Era VI stands alongside Ge 6/6 I locomotives, Bernina nostalgia and freight trains from the 1970s and 1980s. H0e ranges from Württemberg and Saxon state-railway subjects through DR and DB operation to the modern Rügensche BäderBahn.

Capricorn as a Modern RhB Flagship
ABe 4/16 3113 “Calanda” represents one of the most modern Rhaetian Railway multiple units. The current H0m sound model consists of four cars and offers numerous LED light functions, factory-fitted interior lighting, Next18 interfaces and digital sound. The prototype attracted international attention with the RhB record run.
Freight Traffic Is Just as Important as Panorama Trains
BEMO also adds high-capacity freight wagons, tank wagons, sliding-wall wagons, gravel wagons, covered freight wagons and container vehicles. This makes it possible to represent credible working and freight traffic alongside the more familiar Swiss tourist-train themes.

Do Not Confuse the Systems
H0, H0m and H0e all use 1:87 scale but different model track gauges.
H0 uses 16.5 mm track, H0m uses 12 mm and H0e uses 9 mm. A vehicle therefore does not automatically run on another system simply because the body scale is identical.
