From the limited-edition Union Pacific Challenger and the green FlixTrain to historic tank wagons, modern freight trains, the impressive Gauge 1 E 60 and new Z-gauge models: the Märklin Autumn New Products 2026 bring three completely different model railway worlds together in one extensive programme.
The Märklin Autumn New Products 2026 | H0, Gauge 1 & Z cover an unusually broad range. H0 forms the largest section with locomotives, complete train themes, freight wagons and collector models. Gauge 1 focuses on only a few models, but they make an especially impressive large-scale statement. Z gauge demonstrates how many different train concepts can be represented at 1:220 within a very small area.
H0 themes range from a museum train featuring the French 141.R and a steel-blue Deutsche Bundesbahn Class 01.10 to a modern FlixTrain with Class 182. Coach sets 42957 and 42958 combine to create an especially distinctive green long-distance train. Modern freight enthusiasts can choose from TX Logistik pocket wagons, ERR sliding-tarpaulin wagons, VTG self-unloading wagons and DB Cargo sliding-wall wagons.
Historic freight traffic is strongly represented as well. Four classic tank wagons with EVA, HOBUM, DEA and THÖRL lettering can be combined to form a convincing Era III mineral-oil group. The AC/DC special wagon “Cover You In Oil” and collector models such as the Model Railway Day wagon deliberately add completely different accents.
In Gauge 1, the large E 60 10 museum locomotive takes centre stage. Three freight wagons add bulk-goods and tank-wagon traffic. Z gauge ranges from historic postal traffic, potash trains and railway construction to a modern Vectron and a Max Bögl V 60. This provides suitable themes for almost every layout concept between Era III and the present day.
The video complements the large product images and gives a particularly useful impression of proportions, colours and the differences between the three gauges, especially with locomotives and long coach sets.

H0 offers the largest selection and combines high visible detail with manageable space requirements. Locomotives, wagon families, long-distance trains and freight traffic can be combined with exceptional versatility.
Gauge 1 focuses on visible engineering, large metal models, extensive digital functions and powerful individual showpieces. Only a few vehicles are needed to create an impressive scene.
Z gauge allows long routes and varied train sequences within a very small area. The autumn new products range from classic Bundesbahn prototypes to modern construction and leasing traffic.

The Challenger, FlixTrain and Gauge 1 models in particular need considerably more space than compact shunting locomotives.
Several coordinated wagons and a suitable locomotive create a convincing railway world much more quickly.
DB tank wagons, DB AG, FlixTrain, TX Logistik and present-day museum vehicles belong to different historical settings.
Catalogue wagons, Model Railway Day wagons and AC/DC wagons can deliberately be displayed as their own collector group.

The current selection contains 42 products: 25 models in H0, four in Gauge 1 and 13 products for Z gauge.
H0 has the largest autumn group with 25 current products. It ranges from locomotives and complete train themes to historic and modern freight wagons.
Märklin 39872 represents Class 182. Coach sets 42957 and 42958 complement the locomotive to form a modern green FlixTrain formation.
Challenger 39913 is the major locomotive highlight. The four-car Heavyweight set 43629 represents a classic post-war Union Pacific passenger train.
The group contains E 60 10, the Otmm 70, the Fcs 090 and a VTG tank wagon, covering locomotive, bulk-goods and mineral-oil traffic.
Z gauge receives, among other products, a Vectron, a Class 218, potash-transport sets, DB Bahnbau models, Captrain wagons, several diesel and electric locomotives and a new acrylic display case.
Products 46467, 46468, 46469 and 46502 carry different company lettering and combine especially well as an Era III wagon group.
TX Logistik 47476, ERR 47169, VTG 48193 and DB Cargo 48230 provide several different modern freight-train themes.
In addition to the limited Challenger, the 1939/40 catalogue wagon, the Model Railway Day 2026 wagon and the Z-gauge display case are particularly collection-oriented new products.
