Minitrix 11167 N scale starter set "Passenger train" - International express train service with Swiss precision

The Minitrix 11167 starter set offers the ideal introduction to digital model railroad operation in N scale. It includes a complete Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) express train in operating condition around 2022, consisting of the legendary Re 4/4 II electric locomotive (No. 11146) in a fiery red paint scheme and two 1st and 2nd class large-capacity cars. The contemporary design and modern technology make the set perfect for international train scenarios in Era VI.

Digital locomotive with sound and light functions

The locomotive is equipped with a digital decoder (mfx/DCC) and a sound generator. The motor with flywheel drives four axles, traction tires provide excellent traction. The headlights that depend on the direction of travel and the tail lights that can be switched off work with warm white LEDs. The cab lighting can also be switched digitally. The locomotive impresses with its detailed design with angular lamps and a filigree scissor pantograph.

Cars with comfort equipment and expansion options

The included type Apm (1st class) and Bpm (2nd class) express train cars are equipped with close coupling kinematics and are prepared for retrofitting the LED interior lighting (item no. 66616). With a total length over buffers of approx. 423 mm, the result is an impressive train set for your layout.

Complete package for an immediate start

The set includes a mobile station, a track connection box, a switching power supply (230 V / 30 VA) and a track oval with radius 2. The required base area is 90 x 47 cm - ideal for space-saving layouts with expansion potential using the Minitrix concrete sleeper track range.
