The further development of the 18 314 in Era IV

As a conversion of the Baden IV h, the locomotive was reconstructed in 1960 and served the VES-M Halle as a test locomotive. It was converted to oil main firing in 1968, ending its career as 02 0314-1. The typical green livery with decorative line and the characteristic brim chimney with silver ring make it one of the DR's most striking vehicles to this day.
