Arnold HN9078 TT Dampflok 02 0314-1 Ölfeuerung, grün mit Zierlinie, DR, Ep. IV Product Details
Arnold HN9078 TT steam locomotive 02 0314-1, oil-fired, green with decorative line, DR, Ep. IV - The "Princess of Halle" in her last operating condition
With the Arnold HN9078, the legendary express locomotive 02 0314-1 appears in its oil-fired version as a high-quality TT model. Painted in green with a fine decorative line on the driver's cab, this locomotive represents the historical prototype in its Era IV version - without a sound decoder, but with excellent technical features and a digital interface for retrofitting.
The Baden IV h - a masterpiece of German steam engineering
Built in 1919 as the Baden IV h, the locomotive was thoroughly reconstructed in 1960 and was given a new combustion chamber boiler and a modern streamlined design, among other things. After conversion to oil main firing, it was operated from 1968 under the number 02 0314-1. Its elegant appearance and use as a test and high-speed locomotive made it a legend among DR locomotives.
High-quality construction with digital preparation
The model has a robust metal frame, metal boiler, tender housing and wheel sets. The locomotive is powered by a 5-pole high-performance motor with flywheel mass over all driving and coupling axles. Power is taken from the locomotive and tender. The Next18 interface allows easy retrofitting of a decoder.
Prototypical design and lighting
The locomotive impresses with numerous authentic details, including the prototypical differences on the boiler compared to the coal-fired version. Thanks to LED technology, it has a light change depending on the direction of travel as well as functional engine lighting.
Secure now - technical elegance for your Era IV collection
The Arnold HN9078 is a must for anyone who values authentic DR steam technology - now without sound, but ready for individual digital retrofitting.
