Ge 6/6 II as a Modernised Model Family
Several operating conditions, red and green versions and sound could cover historic express trains and heavy RhB freight services.
Which locomotive, panorama train or narrow-gauge vehicle should BEMO bring to life in 2027? This page combines current models in H0m, H0e, H0 and 0m with specific wishes for the RhB, MGB, German and Austrian narrow-gauge railways, digital technology, track and complete train formations.
BEMO New Products 2027: H0m, H0e & 0m is not an advance list of supposedly confirmed models. The published manufacturer programme is currently the 2026 anniversary range celebrating BEMO’s 50th anniversary. It includes newly tooled products, metal models, modern freight wagons, panorama coaches and further variants for several narrow-gauge worlds.
BEMO brings together very different prototypes. The Rhaetian Railway and Matterhorn Gotthard Railway represent Swiss metre gauge, panorama trains, rack operation and Alpine freight traffic. H0e covers Saxon and Austrian railways, among others, on 9-millimetre track. Selected Swiss vehicles are also offered for standard H0 track.
Strong new models should extend existing train families. A locomotive gains purpose through suitable passenger or freight coaches, a multiple unit through coordinated extensions and a rack locomotive through matching track. Wishes are therefore organised not only by vehicle, but also by gauge, railway company, era, radius and technical equipment.
The following ideas are not manufacturer announcements. Interesting suggestions can be saved locally and then included in your personal wishlist text.
Several operating conditions, red and green versions and sound could cover historic express trains and heavy RhB freight services.
A railcar, driving trailer and matching passenger coaches could appear as a coordinated Era III and IV train formation.
A complete baggage-railcar push-pull train could extend regional, car-shuttle and connecting services of the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway.
A departmental railcar, equipment coach, ballast wagons and lighting could create credible construction and maintenance scenes.
A steam locomotive, passenger coach, luggage van and freight wagons could form a ready-to-run Saxon branch-line train.
A diesel locomotive, driving trailer and matching intermediate coaches would create a characteristic Austrian push-pull train.
Additional coaches, running numbers and coordinated lighting could make H0m and H0 formations easier to extend.
A locomotive, two freight wagons and a departmental vehicle could provide a manageable introduction to large-scale shunting operation.
Additional geometries could simplify prototypical rack-railway stations, passing loops and transitions to adhesion sections.
Plug-in light strips, function decoders and current-conducting couplings could make panorama trains easier to equip digitally.
These examples show how strongly the range is shaped by railway company, model gauge and train formation.

H0m and H0e both use a scale of 1:87 but operate on different track gauges. H0m primarily represents metre gauge on 12-millimetre track. H0e uses 9 millimetres and is especially suitable for prototypes with gauges of 750 or 760 millimetres.
BEMO H0 models run on standard H0 track measuring 16.5 millimetres. Depending on the product, two-rail or centre-contact versions are available. 0m transfers metre gauge to a scale of 1:45 and requires considerably more space, but displays couplings, interiors and vehicle technology in particularly impressive detail.
Even within the same gauge, interfaces, decoders, sound, lighting and minimum radii differ. Next18, MTC21 or 21MTC interfaces are frequently used, while older models may employ other connections. The individual product description is always decisive.
Vehicle and track must use the same model gauge. An identical scale alone does not ensure compatibility.
Long panorama coaches, articulated multiple units and large-scale models require sufficiently generous curves.
Analogue, digital-ready, digital and sound-equipped models are separate versions with different catalogue numbers.
Locomotive, coaches, era, coupling and railway company should form a credible train.

BEMO’s history began in 1976 with the V 51 and V 52 for H0e and H0m. Saxon steam locomotives and a steadily expanding programme of Swiss metre-gauge railways followed. The Rhaetian Railway, Matterhorn Gotthard Railway, Glacier Express, Bernina Express and GoldenPass now define a major part of the brand.
Alongside traditional plastic models, BEMO offers premium small-series products and the Metal Collection. Depending on the model, white metal, brass, die-cast components, etched parts, bell-type armature motors, LED lighting and digital sound versions are used.
The BEMO manufacturer page at Modellbahnshop brings together vehicles, coaches, track and spare parts. Spare parts for older models should always be identified using the catalogue number, production year and spare-parts sheet.

The answers distinguish between announcement year, delivery date, gauges, digital technology and technical compatibility.
As of 31 August 2026, the complete regular BEMO new-products programme for 2027 has not been published. The reliable manufacturer programme remains the 2026 anniversary range.
No. Several models announced in 2026 are scheduled for delivery only in 2027. They nevertheless remain new products from the 2026 announcement year.
Both use a scale of 1:87. H0m runs on 12-millimetre track and generally represents metre gauge; H0e runs on 9-millimetre track and frequently represents 750- or 760-millimetre railways.
Not without suitable regauging. Only models expressly designed for conversion can be modified. Regauging is structurally impossible on some vehicles.
These versions make familiar Swiss train and wagon subjects available for standard H0 track. Depending on the version, two-rail or centre-contact models are offered.
0m primarily represents metre gauge at a scale of 1:45. The large models display details particularly clearly but require considerably larger radii and more space.
Next18 and MTC21 or 21MTC are frequently used. Older models may have different interfaces or no plug-in connection.
No. Analogue, digital-ready and factory-fitted digital sound versions are available. The catalogue number determines the exact specification.
Yes. Suitable rack sections and entry and exit pieces are available for compatible H0m rack vehicles.
The designation identifies premium small-series models, frequently using metal, brass, die-cast and hand-assembled components. Equipment and technology differ by model.
The main areas include RhB and MGB together with other Swiss, German and Austrian narrow-gauge railways. These include MOB, DR, the Zillertal Railway and StLB.
Potential candidates are checked on their own product page. Only the explicit wording “New Product 2027” or “News: 2027” leads to inclusion.
No. Notices indicating archiving, removal from the range or B-stock lead to exclusion from the dynamic product overview.
